Eglise St Martin

Visit the sixteenth century Eglise St Martin which is visible from your garden - whilst there see the 2 metre tall statue menhir (U Nativu), a megalithic piece dated at 800-900 BC that was found in one of the vineyards here, that has been erected by the church.

Wine

Patrimonio was the first wine region to be granted an appellation d’origine contrôlée in Corsica. Indeed many of the vineyards here offer wine tasting in their domains and the famous local muscat can also be sampled at one of the caves. There is now a route des vins, which will lead you to all the vineyards, just follow the brown road signs. 

Villa Description

Set along a country lane, just a short walk from the heart of the village of Patrimonio, Villa di Ceppo is a newly built villa of the highest specification. With a traditional slate roof and thick walls, the house has been sympathetically designed to sit comfortably in its semi­rural surroundings. Located on land backed by open woodland and facing away from the lane the house is peacefully situated in pleasantly planted, grassed gardens with views of the church. The house itself is bright and contemporary in style with vaulted ceilings in the living area, tiled and wooden floors. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with a modern granite work surface, beech cabinets and chrome fittings, and both an inside and outside eating area for those home prepared meals. Great for older families, groups of friends or those travelling with grandparents, the villa is sure to prove popular.
