What I love about Clea is the stunning views from most of the main living area and the teak deck. The villa's living area is nicely furnished and quite modern in style, with the kitchen being extremely well equipped and stylish, and kitted out with all the mod-cons you would expect from a quality holiday home. Doors from the kitchen and living room lead out onto the decked pool terrace the views towards the Agriates are again sublime...

Patrimonio wines

Spend a leisurely afternoon visiting a vineyard in the pretty village of Patrimonio, and tasting the superb wines.  The Patrimonio region is most famous for its vineyards, much of Corsica’s best wine being produced in this area. There is now a ‘route des vins’, which will lead you to all the vineyards.  Just follow the brown road signs.

Parking

The driveway is very steep and very awkward if reversing out onto the road - so for stress-free parking drive to the end of the road and reverse down the driveway or park outside the gate.

Eating In

If you would prefer to have a barbecue meal ‘at home’ enjoying the views from the terrace, there are a couple of good supermarkets in St Florent where you can buy some supplies.

Villa Cléa is a delightful modern villa, perfect for comfortable holiday living. In a sought after and perched position on the Fromentica hillside, Villa Cléa has been built to take full advantage of the truly magnificent views over the Bay of St Florent across to the coastlines of Cap Corse and the Désert des Agriates. The main open plan living/dining room, smaller sitting room, bright modern kitchen area and main bedroom all have large windows and French doors leading onto the terraces facing the bay or the pool. From the inside the views blend seamlessly and the dining terrace, the pool itself and the surrounding decked sun terraces all share the same magnificent environment of sea, coastline, mountains and maquis ­the true essence of a magical Corsican experience. The exterior of Villa Cléa is a pastel yellow, with white shutters and both exterior and interior have been decorated and furnished in a modern style. The kitchen area is fitted with stylish, modern and rather vibrant red units housing all the machines and gadgets you would expect from a house of this quality. The colourful bedrooms are spacious, airy and more simply furnished than the living areas and there are ample bath and shower rooms to accommodate a larger party, with three of the bedrooms en­suite.
