One of several properties we feature on the Fromentica hillside, Villa A Machja is simply furnished and ideal for holidays in the sun. With lavender blue shutters, this attractive and contemporary villa is set in a privileged position on the hillside just above St Florent. Like many houses designed with holidays in mind, Villa A Machja has an integrated living room and kitchen, so you can prepare meals in company. The interior is uncluttered, with pale sofas, whitewashed walls and light beige floor tiles making the space luminous and airy. The main living room has two sets of large sliding doors leading out onto a covered, summer dining terrace and beyond this the delightful swimming pool. For those inclined towards reading and relaxing, the spot is perfect with an immense sense of calm. From the terrace, St Florent, less than a 5-minute drive away, is hidden by a curve of the hillside but there are superb views of the bay and the Désert des Agriates as well as a scattering of properties spread out across the neighbouring hillside.
