What We Think
We are delighted to introduce Villa Madrale into our 2013 collection. Resting on the hillside and surrounded by rocky outcrops, the setting is simply sublime with fabulous views over the Regino valley and Balagne mountains down to the sea.
Arranged over two floors, the villa is presented in a minimalist, contemporary style using a neutral blend of calming colours and high quality furnishings. Occupying the whole of the first floor, the privileged master bedroom enjoys its own en-suite shower room and private balcony whilst two further bedrooms sit on the lower level. The open plan living/dining room opens through pale grey shutters onto the terrace where the inviting swimming pool creates a central focus. While away the hours here soaking up the sunshine and marvelling at the panorama with your favourite glass of local wine in hand.
There are a couple of restaurants and bars as well as a boulangerie close by in the village and for those wishing to explore the hinterland of la Balagne further afield – drive along the artisan trail to discover a string of honey-hued mountain villages boasting spectacular views, little shops and an authentic way of life. L’Ile Rousse with its wider range of facilities and bustling atmosphere is also with easy reach.
