Situated on the outskirts of Calvi town and set in its own extensive grounds, Bergerie Orabona is an ideal base from which to explore the wonders of Calvi and la Balagne area. Recently restored from an original shepherd’s bergerie, it offers a pleasant mix of authentically rustic features and modern touches. It has a bright and airy feel, and with two double bedrooms arranged at each end of the house, it will suit two couples holidaying together or a couple travelling with a child. Outside, the large sun terrace enjoys delightful views across the fields towards Calvi and is surrounded by a number of eucalyptus trees providing welcome shade throughout the day – the perfect setting for those Corsican apéritifs and lingering al fresco dining. From here, you can contemplate which beaches to sample, which mountain villages to visit or which walks to try out during your stay in Corsica… It may not be an easy choice to make – the area offers such a range of outstanding beaches and arrestingly beautiful mountain scenery!
