New to our 2012 collection, Hotel le Splendid has all the ingredients for a fantastic Corsican holiday at a competitive price! It is conveniently situated in a quiet part of the centre of L'Ile Rousse with its good selection of shops, local eateries and bustling cafés just a stone’s throw away as well as an alluring sandy beach within 50m. Originally built in the early 20th century and opened in 1930, the hotel has recently been renovated to offer a more comfortable and contemporary feel throughout, whilst great effort has been made to ensure it keeps its character and traditional ambience, all with the support of the charming staff. Always on hand for any assistance and local tips, they will extend you a warm welcome and an attentive, personal service ensuring your stay here is a memorable one. Le Splendid also has a fantastic restaurant on site serving a good variety of Mediterranean dishes, all freshly prepared using local and organic produce (buffet style); and there is a delightful pool area where the team often hosts themed evenings and serve cocktails and apéritifs. For a day out, why not take the train to Calvi, a great way to beach hop and explore la Balagne’s magnificent coastline, or head for the mountain villages of the hinterland for arresting views and a glorious landscape?
Car parking is available at the hotel, however and due to limited space, it must be reserved at the time of booking and paid for locally (25€ per booking).
