Located in a prime position in the citadel, Apartment Cantu di l’Alba is an ideal base from which to explore Calvi and the superb region of la Balagne. Simply equipped for holiday living, the apartment boasts some fantastic original features: the marble flooring is extremely elegant and the wooden beams across the ceiling add to the quirky, quite bohemian feel that is apparent throughout. From the small balcony (accessed from the bedroom), the apartment affords spectacular views across the bay of Calvi to the mountains of la Balagne and as far as the Monte Cinto Massif. The citadel itself is delightful and well worth exploring. Admire the panoramic scenery from the fortified walls or visit the Cathédrale Saint Jean-Baptiste for its famous Corsican polyphonic singing. There is also an excellent array of waterfront restaurants, bars and shops along the lively Quai Landry, just 500m away.
