Boat Trip

Take a boat or catamaran trip from Calvi harbour to nearby creeks and scenic bays, and discover the natural beauty of Corsica from the sea. There are trips from the Quai Landry to the Scandola National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Eat at U Minellu

Situated to the side of the Santa Maria church the restaurant is very popular and offers truly Corsican Cuisine. It has a number of tables outside on the steps leading up from Place de l’Eglise de Santa Maria to Boulevard Wilson. It offers a varied menu and has a pleasant, convivial ambiance.

Walk to the beach

The beach at Calvi is wonderful and a great place to relax for the day. There are restaurants and bars 'on the beach' and you can hire a lounger for the day.

Residence Description

A Merula has just ten studios and thirteen one-bedroom apartments set in pretty gardens which attract a number of species of bird including blackbirds (merula), woodpeckers, hoopo’s and finches. This popular property particularly appeals to couples thanks to the tranquillity of the gardens and the peaceful location, just a short walk from Calvi's spectacular beach and the town. Résidence A Merula is situated next to the popular Le Home apartments and is owned and managed by the same friendly “character” Monsieur and Madame Spinosi who will be happy to share their knowledge of the island and recommend places to visit. The studios and apartments are equipped with adequate facilities to cook and dine within the apartment, however there are an excellent choice of bars, cafés and restaurants just a short stroll away. The apartments are situated on either the ground or first floor, and although they vary in size and style, all have air-conditioning and a balcony or terrace with attractive views of the gardens or pool.
