Calvi beach
Stretching north eastwards from Calvi is its sand fringed bay, which is backed by the Pinede – a forest of maritime pines. The beach stretches for 6km, so there’s room for all, even in the busy months of July and August. The gently shelving waters of Calvi bay are clear, warm and protected, making them ideal for those who are unsure on their feet.
A Cantina Restaurant
For a relaxed, simply appointed restaurant, specialising in a mix of Spanish and Corsican-style Tapas, with a chocolate fondue worth travelling for - try A Cantina on the port.
Quai Landry
Take a walk down to the harbour. Life centres around Quai Landry, the harbour front, where there are many good restaurants and quayside cafes – a perfect location for watching the yachts of the rich arrive at the marina.
