Absolutely brilliant place to stay! I can't say that these apartments are typically good in terms of “views across the water” and “the immediate surrounds are amazing”, but they are literally a few minutes walk to the centre of Calvi, the Citadel, the Marina and the beach where you find all of the above! There's a little footpath, which cuts through to the centre as it's set back a few streets from the main road in Calvi so you can walk to everything...

Boat Trip

Take a boat or catamaran trip from Calvi harbour to nearby creeks and scenic bays, and discover the natural beauty of Corsica from the sea. There are trips from the Quai Landry to the Scandola National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Citadel

The Citadel is dominated by the Cathédrale Saint Jean-Baptiste, which stands at the highest point. Every week here there are concerts of “Chansons polyphoniques”, Corsican polyphonic singing. The best way to see the rest of the Citadel is to simply follow the ramparts, which offer some magnificent views across the bay to the mountains of the Balagne.

To the beach

A gate leads from the corner of the garden to a track that will take you towards the beach. The gently shelving silver sand is just 200m away so you can come and go as you please, popping back to the apartments whenever you want. Have lunch and perhaps take a dip in the pool after a short siesta.

Residence Description

Situated in a large mature garden, Maisons Bervily consists of just six attractive terraced houses and two apartments that are ideal for a family holiday. Apartments Bervily have been recently renovated to a high standard and are equipped with TVs, DVDs and air-conditioning. Simple but comfortable in design but with some lovely features, these apartments are well maintained and kept to a high standard by the owner and his family who live above. Each apartment has its own private terrace suited to dining al fresco.  The fruit trees throughout the garden provide a shady play area and the pastel colours of the houses together with the dark green foliage bring out the Mediterranean feel. There are plenty of loungers around the enclosed pool where guests can relax. A path from the garden leads down into Calvi, a walk of approximately ten minutes, with its shelving sandy beach and plenty of shops and restaurants. Maisons & Apartments Bervily are exceptionally popular with our guests.
