The Road Train

For the young or the old take a trip on 'Le Petit Train' a tourist train of Ile Rousse which will show you the sites at a leisurely pace.

Train to Calvi

Take the train to Calvi. It is a fantastic train journey along the beautiful coast to Calvi - the perfect option for beach hopping or for exploring!

For a good choice of local produce, take a short walk to the columned covered market in the heart of Ile Rousse. You are likely to find a wide choice of locally made jams and honey, cured meats and cheese, fresh fish and tasty vegetables and fruit and of course fresh bread and croissants.

A lovely and recently refurbished apartment which, whilst close to the heart of L’Ile Rousse’s old town, is also a great base for a beach holiday. Although set in an old building, Apartment Frères Arena offers a pleasant décor, modern conveniences with high standard fittings and above all, great comfort. This is a really delightful apartment which the photography does not do justice. Just a short stroll away from the resort’s many facilities, including the covered market place, lively restaurants and bars, little shops and the long sandy beaches – the apartment really appeals to anyone who appreciates authentic Corsica. L’Ile Rousse has certainly kept its traditional way of life and you will be soon charmed by the old game of pétanque continually played in the main square. Due to the steep steps leading up to the apartment, this property may not suit families with young children. The apartment is a good choice for those who are looking for a holiday with everything on their doorstep.
