Customer Quote As I approached the Studio on foot I couldn't help but be impressed with the view directly out to sea. As I entered the studio I felt like I was walking into a modern day cave. The stone walls mixed well with the more modern furnishings with a good feeling of space, as it's all open planned. Although there is no private terrace, sitting outside with morning coffee admiring the view and just people watching is a great way to pass the time of day...

La Voute Restaurant - Calvi Citadelle

La Voute is a chic restaurant, having a small but beautiful interior, which also has tables on the pavement for alfresco dining in a wonderful setting.  It offers a ”prix fixé” menu for 3 courses together with an appealing ‘A la Carte’ menu too.

Boat Trip

Take a boat or catamaran trip from Calvi harbour to nearby creeks and scenic bays, and discover the natural beauty of Corsica from the sea. There are trips from the Quai Landry to the Scandola National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Calvi by night

Take the walk down from the Citadel to the heart of Calvi. Life centres around Quai Landry, the harbour front, where there are many good restaurants and quayside cafes – a perfect location for watching the yachts of the rich arrive at the marina.

Situated just a few steps away from the birthplace of Calvi’s famous son, Christopher Columbus, A Cantina is an extremely spacious open plan studio apartment built into the vaulted ground floor of this tall Citadel house. Tastefully renovated and decorated to retain bare stonework walls and ceilings, the studio is furnished with traditional Corsican furniture. Although a footpath passes along the front of the property as it meanders up to the top of the Citadel, the views from the front out over the Mediterranean are simply delightful. A great ground floor base in the Citadel, and for those looking for a real Corsican experience Studio A Cantina is the perfect choice.
