Bonifatu Forest
If you can stay away from the pool, at the very end of the Calvi airport road the Bonifatu Forest is a haven of cool and shade during the heat of the summer. There are a plethora of picnic spots, rock pools and walks of all levels.
Calvi Beach
Stretching north eastwards from Calvi is its sand fringed bay, which is backed by the Pinede – a forest of maritime pines (children will love the tree top walk). The beach stretches for 6km, so there’s room for all, even in the busy months of July and August. The gently shelving waters of Calvi bay are clear, warm and protected, making them ideal for children. The beach is walkable from the villa but you may prefer to take the car.
