What We Think
The Grand Hotel is ideally located in the lively town centre of Calvi where a plethora of shops, bars and restaurants can be found. The hotel is also near the atmospheric harbour and only a short walk away from Calvi’s fine stretch of sandy beach. Being the original Calvi hotel, opened first in 1913, the Grand Hotel has always offered a warm welcome and a very attentive service to its guests. Recently refurbished to a more modern style, all rooms are well equipped and benefit from air-conditioning and double glazing. Some rooms are positioned at the back of the hotel with a balcony overlooking the courtyard, whilst others are situated at the front with views across Calvi town centre and the sea, however they do not have a balcony – the choice is yours! One of the key features of the Grand Hotel is its top floor restaurant which boasts a large panoramic terrace and spectacular views over the Calvi rooftops, the majestic Citadel, the bay and the mountains. This friendly, family-run hotel is ideal for those looking for a comfortable base in a central location.
