Boat Trip
Take a boat or catamaran trip from Calvi harbour to nearby creeks and scenic bays, and discover the natural beauty of Corsica from the sea. There are trips from the Quai Landry to the Scandola National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Calvi Beach
Stretching north eastwards from Calvi is its sand fringed bay, which is backed by the Pinede – a forest of maritime pines (children will love the tree top walk). The beach stretches for 6km, so there’s room for all, even in the busy months of July and August. The gently shelving waters of Calvi bay are clear, warm and protected, making them ideal for children.
Beachside Restaurants.
Take the walk to the beach of an evening, (ladies remembering to wear sensible shoes), just a stroll along the road and then through the Pinede - pines that back the beach. There are a number of good quality restaurants on the beach that are superb for a long leisurely dinner whilst as night falls - the view of the spotlit citadelle is fabulous at night and really is a great photo opportunity.
