What We Think
This popular, family run hotel stands on a small peninsula with wonderful sea views on two sides and opposite the red rocks from which the town of L’Ile Rousse takes its name. Situated on the quieter edge of the town, this modern hotel has direct access to a small sandy beach whilst still just a short stroll from the centre of the old town with its excellent array of restaurants, cafés, bars and shops. Set on 3 floors, all rooms are air-conditioned, have a balcony or a patio and are equipped to a good standard with satellite television, hairdryer, minibar and a safe. The inviting pool area with a separate Jacuzzi is located next to Santa Maria’s main building surrounded by comfortable sofas and sun loungers – a perfect place to relax and take in the stunning setting. The hotel provides an extensive buffet breakfast and simple, light bites are available by the swimming pool at lunchtime. Hotel Santa Maria definitely has the best of both worlds with its beachside location and its close proximity to the activities and amenities L’Ile Rousse has to offer.
